In continuation of Scottish heritage month, I would like to remember the Battle of Culloden on it's 275th anniversary. This was arguably, one of the most memorable and significant battles in Scottish and history. The battle occurred at Inverness, Scotland on April 16, 1746. The battle ended the Jacobite Rebellion; it was a loss for the Scottish against the English.
Please share with Awes of Inheritance: Family History Services if you had relatives on either side of this battle. Were your relatives Jacobites? Did they live in the one hundred year period after the war when anything Scottish was illegal? Were your relatives Recoats or others supporters of the Bonnie Prince?
