Madonna of the Trail

This series of statues initiated by the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution honors pioneer women. There are 12 identical statues across the United States, along the National Old Trails Roads.[1]

I have a pioneer female ancestor, her name was Charity (née Kendrick) Austin. If you have interest in the Daughters of the American Revolution you can check out www.DAR.org, if you have interest in the Austin family you should go to www.AFAOA.org.

It you need help with you research, let Awes of Inheritance: Family History Services help you.
