About your genealogist:

A. Nichole Lorusso-Heiser is a certificate-holder in the Boston University’s Center for Professional Education’s Genealogical program.

Nichole is a member of the International Society for British Genealogy and Family History (ISBGFH).

​

She has completed many short certificate courses:  Firstly, from University of Strathclyde, Glasgow: "Genealogy: Researching Your Family Tree".  Next, from the University of Glasgow: "Early Modern Scottish Palaeography: Reading Scotland's Records; The Scottish Highland Clans: Origins, Decline and Transformation"; and "Robert Burns: Poems, Songs and Legacy".  Next, "The Tudors" from University of Roehampton, "London and England in the Time of King Richard III" from the University of Leicester and "Archaeology and the Battle of Dunbar 1650: From the Scottish Battlefield to the New World" from Durham University.  From familytree University "Find Your Polish Ancestors." Finally, from the British Institute by the Institute for British Genealogy and Family History (ISBGFH), “Scottish Family History Research: Where and How to Find the Real Records.”

In 2006, she graduated from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, with a Bachelor of Science, in Physical Anthropology and minor in Geography.
